Flour Mill Markets is a local favourite, popping up on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month in the front grounds of the Mungo Scott building at Summer Hill.

It’s a relaxed, friendly space to wander, discover local makers, hunt for unique finds, and enjoy great food.

Each market feels a little different, with new stalls, fresh flavours, and familiar faces. Come for a stroll, stay for a bite, and make a Sunday of it with your community.

Soak up the electric atmosphere at the Flour Mill’s Night Food Markets held a few times throughout the year.

Enjoy a vibrant evening of delicious eats, refreshing drinks, live music, and feel-good community vibes. Grab a bite, dance under the stars, and celebrate the night with friends, neighbours, and a whole lot of heart.

We are family-friendly, dog-friendly, and full of flavour. It’s the Inner West’s favourite way to spend a delicious night out.

Getting there by car
Street parking is available around Flour Mill Way, Edward Street, and the neighbouring residential streets, and it’s best to arrive early, since the markets open at 9am, to secure a spot close by; once you’ve parked, the precinct is compact and easy to navigate on foot.

Getting there by bike

Plenty of bike racks available for easy parking.

Getting there by public transport

You can reach the Flour Mill Markets easily by public transport, with several convenient options available.

TRAIN: The market sits between Summer Hill and Lewisham train stations, both serviced by the T2, T3, and T7 train lines, and each only about a 7–8 minute walk from the precinct once you disembark.

LIGHT RAIL: Catch to the Lewisham West stop, which is only 100m from the market.

BUS: Several bus routes also run nearby, including the 445, 461X, N50, and 563S.

The market is held at 18 Flour Mill Way, Summer Hill. Located in the historic Flour Mill precinct, right in front of the Mungo Scott building.

Visitors

  • The markets are held on the first & third Sunday of the month from 9am – 1pm.

    The Friday Night Food Festivals are held a few times throughout the year with events in April, June, August, October and December 2026.

  • The Bondi Farmers Markets are located at Bondi Beach Public School on Campbell Parade, right across the road from Bondi Beach.

  • Yes, the markets will proceed regardless of the weather. As the markets are not undercover, we recommend bringing an umbrella in the event of a rainy forecast.

  • We welcome a range of food, flowers and fresh produce stalls at the market. Our priority is that the people who grow the product, sell it. However, in some cases due to customer demand we allow our producers to source goods from either a grower local to their own farm or via wholesale.

  • The market is conducted in the open air and will operate in varying weather conditions including wet weather. It is the responsibility of the stallholder to bring their own covers, weights to hold down equipment and other equipment for the purpose of protection against adverse weather conditions. The market will not be cancelled and no credits or refunds are issued in the event of bad weather. Please do not apply for a stall unless you are prepared to take the risk on weather.

  • Stall payments may be cancelled or transferred to another market day if at least 7 days' notice is given via email to office@flourmillmarkets.com.au

    If you send a cancellation or request to transfer your stall fee less than 7 days before the market day, it will not be accepted or processed.
